well. remember when i posted and said i will do a "remember when" post every wednesday? 


wednesday came and went this week. 


i guess that's what happens when i don't even have time to make my bed in the morning, let alone sit and think for a few minutes!


my new job is going well. i am working a lot, which is good! great! but there comes a time when emails keep coming into my inbox and i have to have patience that i can go slowly - one at a time. let's just say, when people are signed up for a loan and it is scheduled to close that day, they want to close it THAT day. i am learning a lot though! and my typing skills have improved immensely :)


back to remember when. 


remember when was the cutest? thanks sharon for the boy haircut. i am now scarred for life from the nicknames my brothers called me. i wasn't a thumb-sucker, however. i sucked my 3rd and 4th fingers on my left hand.

we went up to midway for a birthday in the family. i haven't picked up my dear camera in a while so i took a few. 

adam hadn't thrown a snowball in... over 2 years? here's his first.

do i need these things? no...

i'm ready to freeze at the byu football game tomorrow. wish me luck!

we had:


> a wonderful day trip to the london temple on saturday (literally, all day).


> yummy italian food and italian ice. 


> church, and afterwards, a performance by the Utah Valley Youth Symphony Orchestra


and coming up:


- the tower of london and london bridge


- much ado about nothing at the one and only, globe theatahh.


- matinee showing of les miberables. 


- day trips to cambridge and canterbury.


- midnight showing of harry potter 7 movie #2. (a free showing of movie #1 beforehand, if we can make it). 


is my life great right now or what? i think so...


p.s. skype! is the most wonderful thing ever! i get to talk to and see my dear friends and family in utah and nebraska while i am here in london, for free! how amazing! 


and, i will be seeing this guy in just a few short weeks! 

what a cluster.

is it hectic right now? yes. a final project for my business communication class is killing me. i get what to do, but the instructions aren't very clear. don't you hate that? man, i know i do! 


after wednesday, however, i will be enjoying myself in vegas, yet again, to get a tan and watch some baseball! and only three finals in the dreaded testing center the following week! then.. the summer begins. lots of laying out, and relaxing, and enjoying no school.

and after that, my traveling adventures for nearly eight weeks. eight! speaking of eight.. today is april 8, in exactly four months, on august 8, i will be in africa seeing my bro bro for the first time in two years! don't worry, i will take lots of pictures for those of you who are wishing you would be in africa too (not necessarily for adam, but still..)

get me to vegas already! t minus 15 hours until we will leave to go and party! what we are going to do because we aren't 21, we don't know. but i am ready to enjoy the pool and hopefully get roasted but come back tan, sound good? can't wait!!

man, my life is good. i am so lucky to be doing all these great things!

oh.. and.. 21 weeks and 6 days until i get to see my sweet bro bro who is rocking it in africa!! gosh can it come faster already? again, i am so lucky. :) everyone, raise your glasses. cheers to a good life!! 

glittery.

yes i am alive after a suspenseful, scary, horrific, spontaneous date i had on friday. it involved a very tiny plane flying to salt lake. it was fun but i am glad i am safe and sound here in provo, utah. 


i wore my black sparkly toms to school today. 
it was one of those days where i knew, even last night, that i was going to be wearing a hat because my hair was disgusting. then, i just found some clothes, put them on, and hoped i would look okay for the zoobies at school. (not that i even care if they look at me). 


great day today? one of my classes was cancelled. great news!


i have had a day full of learning piano basics that i learned when i was 5 years old, over 14 years ago? holy cow. 
i learned about president monson's life (more to be continued on wednesday), what a great man! i am beginning to love him more as i learn about his life. 


then.. i am excited for the week long excitement of what will happen on the bachelor tonight. crazy michelle is probably going to get crazier and i can't wait to watch her creepiness in action. 


today is a good day. and it's sunny! gives me some hope for the summer. 


oh.. and my brother in africa changed his mind and might want us to come get him when his mission ends. might means that he might, yet again, change his mind about us coming. so that plan is always up in the air. we will see though. i love my bro bro. his birthday is coming up. i hope it is full of eating bugs, driving around young missionaries, and lots of dirt roads!


another oh. i applied to the london study abroad in the fall. i have an interview this week and i hope i knock their socks off! it would be even more fun if taylor applied and got in. and we could go together. that would be idyllic (i learned that word from my favorite move, the holiday, that i watched on saturday with a cutie :) ) -- does that make sense that i just did a smiley face and a parentheses thing? oh well. 

my african bro bro.

some pictures from the past have been appearing in our house. i was downstairs actually looking for something else, but came across this one in a box of pictures of me in my phenomenal, stylish, younger years. 

how adorable are these pictures? makes me miss my bro bro in africa. his pigeon toed stance. his elaborate cowlick right in the center of his forehead. he's my bestie. i miss him. i can't wait for him to come home and enjoy some brick oven pizza with me. i love him.

i have the greatest brother ever. i sure do miss him. i got a letter from him today. it made my day, it was just what i needed to hear. to a tee. i am so proud of him, he is doing amazing work for the people of malawi. he is such an example to me. he is past his year mark now, i can't believe how fast time has gone! soon enough he will be home and we will be sitting and talking about life. i can't wait for that moment. 

sure do miss him....
