class ended, walked down the stairs, looked outside and i thought, "oh crap." my umbrella is in my camera bag at the flat and it was pouring rain! i manned up, put my hood on, and literally ran home in the rain. my shoes got soaked, my pants were soaked.
after some lunch and dry clothes, we went back out to the museum.
the museum was so cool! there were exhibits from all parts of the world, a jewelry section, tapestry, painting, photography and sculpture sections! it was very cool. i will admit, i don't know a ton about history, but i thought this was very interesting!

the royal albert theater.
monument in hyde park.
there were a couple hours to spare before leaving again to the beggar's opera in the open-air theater. we all met at 7:15 and waited for the show to start. after about 20 minutes, this show wasn't our cup of tea and we all left. the professors treated us all to ice cream and we went to our flat for banana split sundaes! ice cream will make anyone feel better. keep that in mind! :)
our professors are so great. we have been having so much fun and the professors encourage us to go out into the city and learn and listen to the dialects and that language. we have already learned so much!
here is our...flat.
