odd man out.

you know what's the best about thursdays?
thursday is the new friday, in a sense. no class, and following friday, two days of forgetting about school - kinda.

this weekend was a good one. i may or may not have eaten a weeks worth of food within seven hours...
it was totally worth it though.

i saw "one for the money" on saturday. i thought it was great!! i later found out that there are 18 books in this series. EIGHTEEN?? i know someone who is reading #18 right now. that's a lot of reading. is that a new summer goal? possibly. go see that movie though, seriously.

and, how could i forget... the super bowl! was i cheering specifically for a team? no. should i have been? probably.
we were all fence-sitters because our steelers didn't make it, stuff happens though.

i have some pet peeves, well a few, wanna know one of them? i hate getting dogged. i mean, i don't think anyone likes it, but it's really starting to bother me as of late. uhh. sorry if i have dogged you recently, i think i have been pretty good at following up though.

but please, check out this shirt i made!!

isn't that fantastic?? i think it is.
take a shirt, any shirt. trace and cut out a pattern onto wax paper - big or small. iron the pattern onto your shirt. lay the shirt in the tub and spray it with bleach. immediately after the bleach is sprayed, iron the bleach again and instantly, it bleaches it your shirt! let it dry for a few minutes and peel off your pattern! simple project, but totally cool!!

thank goodness for pinterest, right?
shar made a yummy honey glazed chicken dinner the other night.
think about it, what would we do without pinterest? how would we paint our nails? complete holiday projects? we wouldn't!

remember when i learned how to fish?

1. reminds me of summer.
2. reminds me that this was taken just over three falls ago. my, how the time passes by.

the weeks blend together and repeat themselves. does this really go on until april when the semester ends? it must. i hope i can survive.

i played would you rather the other day.
the question was posed: would you rather go back in time or look into the future?
i debated between one, and then the other, and back to the first.
but i would rather look into the future. i think about my past and i don't feel like there is much to regret or change. the future is unpredictable and kind of exciting. some days.

i might regret the fact that my mom styled my hair like this?!

look at me though - take me back there.

my african bro bro.

some pictures from the past have been appearing in our house. i was downstairs actually looking for something else, but came across this one in a box of pictures of me in my phenomenal, stylish, younger years.

how adorable are these pictures? makes me miss my bro bro in africa. his pigeon toed stance. his elaborate cowlick right in the center of his forehead. he's my bestie. i miss him. i can't wait for him to come home and enjoy some brick oven pizza with me. i love him.
